Professor

Hiroshi Tagawa, Dr. Eng.:@Dr. Tagawa is a Professor of the Graduate School of Engineering at Hiroshima University. He received his bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in Engineering from Kyoto University. From 1996 to 2001, he was a Research Associate at Kyoto University. From 2001 to 2012, he was an Associate Professor at Nagoya University. In 2012, he became a Professor at Hiroshima University. His research interests are in structural engineering for steel buildings. Dr. Tagawa is a member of Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ), Japan Association of Earthquake Engineering (JAEE), Japan Society of Steel Construction (JSSC) and Japan Society of Seismic Isolation (JSSI).
